Remember to use the power on your laptop though as this is not powered (it does have a power adapter point)and if any of your tools needs usb pwer it will drain extrememly quickly.Fairly large though and the cable is shorter than I use for the desktop, and hangs in mid air.Oveall a good product for what it's designed, laptops. Simply put when it comes to travel and using my Sony Vaiao which only has two USB ports this is a great product.
It was very easy to install and the short length of the connecting cable wasn't a problem for me. This USBHub was extremely useful for my old Dell Laptop computer, which only had one USB port. Now, I can permanently connect my printer, backup disk drive and USB Mouse.
In case your usb devices are kind of wide. Great product and works as advertised. Has plenty of spaced out usb ports.
I don't recommend it. I could not attach the broadband and printer, e.g., at the same time. There are a lot better ones on the market. I don't like it, and had to go buy another one. the USB ports are too close together to be useful for me.
I gave it to my church rummage sale without opening it. I am not very knowledgable about computers. I just didn't understand it. The information was in the ad. This turned out to be a USB hub and not a USB-2 hub which I required. Also the cord was much to short for my situation since I have no ports on the front of my computer.
